Mount Hottalotta and the Great Quake Smoothie Shake

Smitty, Smarty, and Smiley were always very happy living on the small island of Hottalotta. It was a tropical paradise. There were miles of pink sandy beaches, palm trees, and bright sunny days.

Hottalotta Island was a very hot place to live. So every day, Smitty and his friends would make fruit smoothies to enjoy under the cool shade of a palm tree.

Although it was hot on the island, Smitty and his friends were as happy as could be. That is, until the day Mount Hottalotta started grumbling. Smitty and his friends decided to check things out and make the long trip to Mount Hottalotta.

When they arrived, they found a very grumpy volcano. She was erupting with hot lava and didn’t look very happy at all. The monkeys all wondered what could possibly bother Mount Hottalotta. She lived in paradise!
